Create a TikTok of your pet doing something funny! Put a silly or popular sound over the video, or maybe a voiceover.
Watch the video of ghost here:
For this assignment, my character is my dog, Ghost. Ghost has a huge personality and always manages to make me laugh. One thing that inspired this video is how he reacts whenever he hears a strange noise. He only seems to have two responses: either he starts barking and charges toward the sound like he’s protecting the entire house, or he immediately avoids it and finds somewhere to hide. There is never really an in-between. I thought this would make a perfect TikTok because it shows one of the funniest and most relatable parts of his personality.
This video takes place in my home, which is Ghost’s favorite place to patrol. Whether it is a knock at the door, someone walking outside, or a random noise he cannot identify, Ghost is always paying attention. Since this behavior happens almost every day, my home was the perfect setting for capturing one of his dramatic reactions. It also shows Ghost in his natural environment, doing exactly what he does best.
reating this video reminded me that pets have their own unique personalities and can become characters in everyday stories. Ghost may think he is protecting the house, but sometimes his reactions are so dramatic that they are impossible not to laugh at. Through this assignment, Ghost taught me that bravery comes in different forms. Some days he is ready to charge into action, and other days he would rather avoid the situation completely. Either way, he always keeps life entertaining and gives me a good story to tell.
