Tell your character’s story or a story from their life through video. This can be as simple as adding images and putting a voiceover, or recording a bit from your character’s life. Use MovieMaker or iMovie to put together the video and throw in some sound effects if you’d like. It is up to you! 

Adeline Takes a Drive

For this video, my character is Adeline. She is easygoing, enjoys the little things in life, and believes that not every adventure has to be a big one. Sometimes the best moments come from something as simple as getting in the car, turning on some music, and going for a drive. I chose Adeline because I wanted to tell a story that felt realistic and relatable.

The story takes place around Fredericksburg, Virginia, as Adeline takes me on a quick trip to grab some food. The roads, parking lots, and everyday scenery become part of the story. While nothing dramatic happens, the location helps show how even ordinary routines can become memorable experiences. The music playing in the car and the feeling of being on the road help create a relaxed atmosphere.

By the end of the trip, Adeline learns that sometimes the best moments are the simplest ones. The drive was not about reaching a destination. More about enjoying the ride, singing along to music, getting food, and spending time in the moment. Creating this video reminded me that stories do not always need major conflicts or life-changing events. Sometimes a fun drive and good music are enough to tell a story.
